I am grateful I was on leave and my Principal extended it for me @Faith-and-Hope I would not have coped at all if I went back to work this week. I really don't want to go back next week but I think the routine will be good for me. I am quite stressed about everything I need to catch up on though so we will see how it goes.

Dad sees his GP and specialist next week so we are waiting to see what they both say. He is doing okay for now but he is so stubborn that he wouldn't tell us if he wasn't anyway. He is getting old and has many health issues. He is not capable of doing everything he used to but that does not stop him trying ...then he collapses and ends up in hospital 😒 He won't listen to anyone though and gets angry with both Mum and my sister - which makes them upset - so it is a difficult situation. 

Just do what we can hey!

That’s it @Zoe7 .  I am having to teach my father to ask for and accept help.  So stubborn and independent, but with the best intentions nonetheless.  What do we do ?  We can only be there in whatever capacity we are capable of, or we risk one patient becoming two !!!  Keep

Yeah you are spot on @Faith-and-Hope At least Dad talks to me a little bit and I have asked him to be kind to Mum and my sister as they only care about him ...see how that plays out!

Having these things happen is never good timing but I am grateful I could be around to help out. I am doing the best I can for the moment 👍

How is your Dad doing? How are you and all the baby dragons and grandbaby dragons?

Everybody is as well as can be at the moment @Zoe7 .  There seems to be a roller coaster with one or the other every now and then, but we are gradually in a better place over all.  Even Dad’s health event improved his situation as a result.

I still have so much to do in the wake of my giant storm of the last few years.  It needs time and effort to put things right again, and I am doing it, but it has still been two steps forward, one step back.  The pattern will begin to change if I just persevere through it.

Thanks for asking.  You have so much on your own plate at the moment 💖😘
