Thanks @rav3n
some things have come out of the blue and left me feeling stunned and flat. Also brought back some memories of sad time few years ago.
I went for short walk this morning which went well, first day out of the house in 10 days.
have had pleasant phone call with dietician from hospital. Good positive outcome with my knowledge which will assist with increasing food options available to order when I’m in hospital in December
nice pleasant sunny afternoon here. Hoping weather is similar where you are @Dimity

Hello @Dimity!
How are you feeling this week? 🫶
I just read about your dreams and reflections, they sound incredibly profound and I am so happy that something has shifted for you - to really be able to sit with how much you are still able to experience and explore throughout your life.
Can you tell me more about what study could look like for you? Also, how are things going with your mental health social worker?
Hello @Patches59,
How are you? Would you like to talk a bit more about your therapy experiences and options? Let me know! 💛

@rav3n In recent email from elderly cousin she mentioned based on her symptoms her gp initially thought prolapse. Outcome of few scans she has seen gyno plus oncologist and is waiting on outcome of biopsy.
7yrs ago this month my husband was referred by gp to hospital for scans. He was discharged 3 days later with box of needles of blood thinners. Post discharge appointment couple weeks later saw him referred to oncologist. April the following year he took his last breath.
@AuntGlow my next appointment with my therapist is later this week. Based on things she mentioned at last appointment I suspect focus of appointment will be Schema Therapy related, again.
@AuntGlow I’m still wrestling with same decision as was when I tagged you couple weeks ago and never heard back from you. I don’t know if I can, want to and am best continuing seeing this psychologist. When explaining or discussing things she is a broken record. Last appointment she talked about one coping method 4 times consecutively, even though I said I understand more than once.
is something she has told me she knows she does and that her young adult children bring to her notice at times. Her plan for me to bring it to her attention doesn’t work when, involuntarily, I start to disassociate.
First became an issue late last year , told her verbally and in writing that time if happens again I won’t be back

Well done on the walk @Patches59 . Sounds like a sad anniversary for you.
Yes the weather was nice but I didn't see much of it, I spent hours on paperwork instead. I now have 4 documents needing signatures from various people, the fifth is already done.
Hello @rav3n @AuntGlow I'll get back to you, I'm not connecting with my plans or feelings atm. I'm nervous of upcoming conversations with family members.

@Patches59 i'm sorry that your cousin's email triggered memories about your husband. it's scary having to wait for answers and not knowing where things will go. i'm glad she has you to support her, but pls do look after yourself too - if seeing those emails/outcomes are too much, it is absolutely okay to take a break and work on your self-care 💙
@Dimity no worries at all, take your time. i hope the conversations go in your favour 💙

Good afternoon @Patches59 🫶
Firstly, I am so sorry for not getting back to you! If you ever don't hear from me, it's likely because one of my open tabs has disappeared, and never because I don't want to talk to you. So please feel free to tag me again if it's been a minute, I always want to make sure I am there for you. 🥰
I do recall you sharing this and it sounds extremely conflicting...
I am getting the sense that you're not feeling overly connected with or seen by her, and that is such a huge facet of feeling good about therapy, isn't it? It feels like you know what you want to do, but so we are looking at every angle, what would your reasons for staying be?

Hello @Dimity,
I appreciate your transparency and we can absolute talk more about your plans when you have the space. It sounds like there's quite a lot you're having to manage at the moment... please let us know if you need any support around these conversations.

Reasons for continuing with her @AuntGlow
- dread starting with some one new
- convenience, once a week she comes to location not far from me
tbh, can’t think of any other reasons
