Re: MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS MONTH: Australia, Let's Talk (October 2023)

Hello again dear forums fam! It's hump day! And it's time for another conversation, so let's get it rolling 😁

How would you spend your perfect day? What makes it perfect for you?

Honestly my perfect days are usually the ones spent in nature, taking in the tranquillity that comes with being surrounded by a lush forest, or the grandeur and humbling sight of a mountainous landscape. If I get to spend it with loved ones, and see some cool or rare animals to boot, all the better. 🌳🐨🏔🌞

What about you?

@MissLil  I’m crossing fingers and toes. Wishing you the very best place to work in.

Re: MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS MONTH: Australia, Let's Talk (October 2023)

I see the mountainous landscape daily @Jynx. I only have to walk out the front or back door!

A perfect day for me is being on the coast, taking Pixie for a walk around the headlands and taking her for a walk along her favourite beach. It’s of lead so she just runs in and out of the water and climbs on the rocks. Then dinner by the waterfront!

I get to do all that in 2 weeks.

Oh how absolutely divine @Captain24!! Watching doggos run around in the water is honestly pure bliss, can very much understand why it's your perfect day 😊

Waking up to morning snuggles from my daughter. Followed by pancakes for breakfast. Rocking out to some tunes on the drive to the beach and sipping on a can of V. Frolicking in the water, exploring rock pools, fish and chips by the beach. A walk along the beach at dusk. Ice cream on the drive home. A nice hot shower to wash the saltiness away. And fresh clean sheets on the bed!

My perfect day would see me spending time in 3 locations

- local nature reserve listing to the birds and relaxing to the sounds and smells of the wind blowing through the trees

- street cat rescue centre talking to the cats and helping them get used to people plus gain trust in people so they can be adopted

- sitting by the bay listening and watching the waves breaking on the rocks below me

My perfect day would be spending it with my two kids. Going out for lunch and then going to a movie/sporting event. Finish up with dinner and a good talk with them.

How would you spend your perfect day? What makes it perfect for you?

Spending time with my family exploring country.
This could be through a walk, camping, bike riding, surfing. Time spent on country with my family switching off from the world is pretty damn good.
Then home to some sort of home cooked meal
