Mental health meds not working

Hi Im new here but wanting to see if any one here has been put on cholesterol medication(statins) and had it affect the way their medications for mental heath are working for them. I think they are making my mental health meds less effective and causing a depressive episode. Not even sure if that is a thing that can happen but curious to know if anyone else out there has had a similar experience. TIA

I personally haven't had any experiences around this, but if you are concerned, it's important you speak to your prescribing doctor or treating team.

We should also mention that whilst members can share their experiences are not able to provide any advice that is deemed to be clinical advice.

This is because this space is a peer-led space, and each person's experiences with medication can be very broad.
