Re: My special place

We are glad to have you as part of our forums family. Remember, YOU make this place what it is @Snowie . I can't believe how far these forums can come in the last few years. There have been so many changes.

Re: My special place

Love to know more about your life @tyme ❤️

And lots of good changes to the forum @tyme , @Snowie

Re: My special place

LOL @Shaz51 , my life is one big go go go. These three nibblings are beautiful but can also be the bane of my existence. They are in the court playing ball with the kids in the neighbourhood. At least it is sunny.

I'll be going out later for a youth church service.

Re: My special place

True @tyme , it is sunny and the kids are playing

@tyme , @Snowie , I think I am still trying to adjust to now after a lifetime of go go go

Re: My special place

It does sound like your life is super busy @tyme I hope the kids know just how lucky they are to have you in their lives. I hope you enjoy the youth church service.

@Shaz51 I find just sitting and taking it easy really hard to do too. Sometimes it feels like I just have to do things to make it seem ok.

Re: My special place

@Snowie I hope things do continue to look up for you. You’ve been through so much 💖🫂

I probably have come down with a viral. Explains the migraines and crankiness. It’s just that time of year. Though I’m starting to feel a bit better

Re: My special place

Morning @Snowie  dear. Hope that you had an amazing sleep in your own bed and that today is a good day 💕

Re: My special place

Today I wish I was not home. Have spent the last few days driving mum to places she needed to go and ringing up some companies for upcoming treatment she is having. It's like she has bottled everything up, waiting for me to get out so I can do everything that she hasn't been able to do. I know she needs the help and she hasn't got anyone else to do it, but it puts a lot of pressure onto me.

Her Alzheimer's is really getting worse quickly. I know it sounds mean but I wish she was at the stage where she needed 24 hour care, therefore being in a nursing home. With her living with us, there are so many things that now fall onto my shoulders, hence a lot more pressure. I really don't think she can drive for much longer. She went to the shops the other day and it took her almost an hour to remember where she parked her car.

I just need a few hours to myself. Just some time to just adjust to being home again.
