Hey @Patches59 💛
Is there anything you might need from us tonight? Anything that might help you to feel supported?
We're here for you, okay?

I'm so sorry you feel that way @Patches59 and hope I haven't added to that. I've very much appreciated our chats and your insights.
I know you have a lot happening away from the forums too, familywise and with the village and your legal complaint.
Maybe consider hanging on until after your next surgery, when hopefully you'll be in less pain and happier and more settled. How can I help? Are there ways I can support you?

I can’t go into details @Dimity apart from has been little things on the forums that have now added together and been topped off by a recent event. Sorry for being vague, cant/wont mention usernames.
Hoping chatting with NatureLover and AuntGlow last couple weeks has been helpful for you and provided you with support.
From your messages I know you have banking, legal, family and medical issues you are dealing with and could be for unknown period of time. Maybe a time will come when chats are about other things also.

@Patches59 I'm hoping to complete my current admin work in 2-3 weeks. It's been slower than expected, there've been unexpected delays. I'm attending to my health too. 2 specialists next week. Other things have been downgraded. Ongoing? You're right, I don't know. Family? I choose to leave the door open and continue making an effort but there are things to resolve that won't be easy.
Hobbies? After longterm depression I need to rediscover, reactivate and learn. I gather you have a number of interests. I've just unpacked some sewing, needlepoint and latchhooking, as well as bought textiles. I guess it's clutter unless I use them. The garden is an interest, and current affairs, and music. And Tiger. I walk every day and envy friends who enjoy yoga. One day I'll try. The physio tomorrow will give me some general fitness exercises.
Wishing you a good day tomorrow, and hoping you feel better..

Latch hooking, is that for making small mats or pictures from wool? Needlepoint, reminds me of attempts made to teach me hand sewing using different decorative stitches when I was in primary school. My mother getting frustrated and angry as she had lots of children’s aprons that needed to have the design gone over in thread and me not being interested.
I grew up in a house where clutter was the norm. Cardboard boxes stacked under front window in the bedroom of things that had been bought over the years and never used. ‘That’s nice, I’ll buy that as might use that one day’ was also a norm and had been long before I was born.
I know I’m the similar, used to be worse than am now. Trying not to fall into that trap, don’t always win hence partly my different interests. Atm I have 2 x 52 litre plastic tubs full of 8ply wool, I had 6 when I moved in.
hoping all goes well with physio plus the specialists.
I need to stop procrastinating and get to pharmacy for scripts plus all my OTC meds in preparation for hospital, plus bit of grocery shopping. Need to pay for the procedure today also. Out of pocket this time plus my direct debits total more than my pension this fortnight

Ah yes I had trouble with embroidered aprons too @Patches59 . I've latchhooked rugs and cushion covers. Cats find them cosy.
I hope you'll get subsidised by Medibank and any health insurance you have for some of the fees. It can get very expensive. I was surprised when my recent scans were bulkbilled.
I bought some cheap acrylic yarn today for knitting or crochet. Hooks and needles are deep in the clutter somewhere..
Chores tomorrow before home help comes. I'm not sure I deserve it but I'm grateful for it.

My health insurance isn’t able to cover much of the costs @Dimity. It’s the huge charges more than scheduled fees that specialists charge that leave people having to pay lot of their own money.
im drowning in number of sets of knitting needles I’ve got. That bag is in room I haven’t started on yet, worst room to work through.
Im going to need to get cleaner in at some stage, even if only to do bathroom and carpets. Another thing to add to the wish list, all expensive things that are having to wait. Need to try to prioritise the list first … maybe next year.
how things going with your physical health? Remember you had scans etc plus some concerns recently.
latch hook sounds interesting. My grandfather had a latch hook mat that one of his sons had made, had forgot about that mat
