Hii @MDT Just really frustrated and not coping with the fact that I cannot be helped because I am the wrong race. And I am not permitted to put in a claim for discrimination because it is the government that says what race can use it. There is nothing that I can afford. And to make it worse some of them are now bad mouthing me around town because I DARED to think I could ask for help when I was not allowed to. Had enough

@TAB There is PATS, but they will only pay so much. The specialist I should go to does not have trains nearby so I would have to get taxis which cost too much, and PATS will not pay that. And to get the medical transfer mob to take me that I can get will cost about $120 above what PATS pay. So I lose every way. The bus I am not allowed to use goes door to door and is free. So many people claim there is all this help around, but if you do not fit into a small category you do not get the help, and I have had enough of people trying to tell me that with disabilities and chronic health problems that everything is free. Had enough of it.

I did that this week. They said the only thing they can do is put me on a wait list for one of the hospitals, and it will be 12 to 18 months wait. There is one that comes here, but I cannot see them as the room they use is in an aboriginal medical centre and being white means I am not allowed to access any services there at all. I have tried everything and it just gets too much when everyone is against you

okay well you have done what you can @cutiepiekitty yes positive discrimination is for a reason, to try and make up for the past.
Lifes Not Fair in general, no point in making it worse, you've done what you can

@TAB but preventing people now from being able to use services they need does not help anything, just repeats the problem. It is time the government stopped discriminating with legislation all together and just let everyone that needs services have them. It is totally unfair and life affecting to be told that I cannot use services I need because of nothing I have done
